Starz Theater Company is the theater performance division of Turning Pointe School of Dance
Turning Pointe is a Christian-based dance studio that provides training opportunities for students through weekly classes, summer intensives and performances with its varied divisions. STC offers musical theater production experiences for students ages 9 - senior in high school. Our school-year and summer productions partner with the TP Musical Theater Program and are offered with the goal of furthering development and growth for students currently enrolled. Young people who are interested in participating in a STC production, but are not currently enrolled at TP, may audition for a show through our community auditions and will be evaluated based on training and openings within the company.

Turning Pointe offers year-round training through weekly classes in Dance, Acting and Voice. Classes are available for students of all ages and levels. School year classes are offered September-May and a 6-week summer series is offered in June-July.The TP Musical Theater Program features classes in theater jazz, voice and acting. The expansive curriculum developed exclusively for Turning Pointe is designed to give all performers at any point in their theater training a place to begin and to grow. Each Musical Theater Program class performs in either the annual TP dance recital or TP class musical showcase.
The heart of Starz Theater Company is to build positive culture, uplifting community and bright futures as we strengthen well-rounded performers and young leaders who grasp an understanding of the power and purpose of the Arts. We continue the vision of Turning Pointe Dance which is to be a faith based center for the arts in our community that empowers students with grit, grace and gratitude for the arts and for His Kingdom. The long term goal of TP is to see students flourish in their gifts and be equipped to go into every man's world by training the whole person body, mind and spirit.
Starz Theater Company, Turning Pointe’s youth theater production company, offers foundational theatrical, dance, vocal and leadership training in a safe environment. Our desire is to honor God in all we do and serve Him with the talents and gifts He has given to us. Throughout their time at STC, students will grow as both artists and God’s workmanship as they develop and step into their unique giftings. We desire to be a light in the darkness, stars in this fallen world and to use the arts to point others toward the love of Christ.
